Welcome to Nurture in Wells!
We are primarily an independent, first-opinion general vet practice in Wells, Somerset, that offers everything you would expect for your pet’s care and more. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of both you and your pet. Additionally, we’re proud to offer on-site vet dentists and the advantages of extra services, including round-the-clock emergency care, made possible by our overnight staff and advanced diagnostic equipment—a level of service akin to that of a hospital.
Nurture is our new name (formerly Westfield Vets in Wells) and our Practice has been designed with pet wellbeing at its core. Together with our team in Weston, we are two practices with one vision, delivering exceptional pet & people care.

You can trust Nurture to take excellent care of your pet whatever the time; we are proud to offer patients our RCVS tier 3 Small Animal Hospital, with new, advanced equipment and hospitalisation facilities. Should your pet require urgent or emergency veterinary attention, you can have peace of mind they will be treated in a nurturing environment – we never leave your pet’s side.
Nurturing pets & people
To ensure the best treatment facilities for your pet, we have invested in specialist equipment so we can offer ultrasound, same-day blood tests, dental x-rays, and key-hole surgery & spays – we are proud to be the only vets in Wells offering this advanced procedure.
