Come and Cheer on Team Nurture at the Wells Moat Boat Race!
We’re delighted to announce that Team Nurture will be taking part in the Wells Moat Boat Race on Monday 31st August, and we’d love to see some familiar faces there to support us.
The Wells Moat Boat Race is one of the city’s most loved traditions. First held in 1963, the event has entertained generations of local families while raising money for worthwhile causes. Historically organised by the City of Wells Lions, the race has supported a wide range of local charities and community projects, making it much more than just a fun day out.
Our team has been busy preparing for the challenge, and while we’re not making any promises about our finishing position, we are determined to have plenty of fun along the way!
The event takes place in the beautiful surroundings of The Bishop’s Palace moat and is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a day out with family and friends. Why not bring a picnic, find a spot beside the water, and join us for an afternoon of laughter, community spirit, and hopefully some glorious Somerset sunshine….
Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines, supporting the fundraising efforts, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, we’d be very grateful for your support.
