Health Care Plan Improvements for 2026
At Nurture, our health care plans are designed to help you spread the cost of your pet’s essential routine care throughout the year, while giving you the option to choose additional support if your pet needs more regular veterinary attention.
We have recently reviewed our plans to ensure they remain simple, clear and focused on the care pets use most. As part of this review, we are updating our plan structure and monthly prices.
Our plan prices were last increased around 18 months ago. Since then, the cost of providing veterinary care, vaccinations, parasite protection, medicines and clinical time has continued to rise. The updated prices reflect the current cost of delivering this care while continuing to offer excellent value for our clients.
What’s changing?
We are simplifying our plan names and structure to make it easier to understand the benefits available to you and your pet.
Essential Care
Our core plan for routine preventive healthcare. It includes annual vaccinations, parasite protection, a six-month health check and 10% off Virbac food. This plan is suitable for most pets and helps you budget for the care your pet should already be receiving each year.
Unlimited Care
This includes everything in Essential Care, plus unlimited consultations. Many illnesses require an initial consultation followed by one or more rechecks, so this plan can provide valuable peace of mind for pets that may need more regular veterinary attention.
Complete Care
Our most comprehensive plan. It includes Essential Care, unlimited consultations and 10% off all treatment and services. It is particularly beneficial for pets receiving ongoing support, such as long-term medication, repeat injections, skin or allergy treatment, mobility care, senior pet monitoring or management of chronic conditions.
As part of these changes, some of our older Plus-style plans will no longer be available to new members as we move to this simpler and clearer structure.
Additional member benefit
Health plan members will also benefit from standard insurance claim submission being included at no additional charge. This means there will be no administration fee for routine claim submissions. Charges may still apply for direct claims, complex claim queries, historic claims or additional administrative work where required.
If you have any questions about which plan is best suited to your pet, our team will be happy to help.
Further Information
Over the coming weeks, we will be contacting health plan members by email with details of any changes that apply to their current plan, including any updates to pricing or plan benefits. These communications will explain what the changes mean for you and your pet, and when they will take effect.
